Worship Team
Worship teams seek to provide excellent relevant
music in a manner that inspires people to worship God during the
corporate worship services. Worship team members are expected to attend
scheduled rehearsals. Worship team members should have a desire to
strive for musical excellence which may include musical preparation
apart from the regular rehearsal times and/or additional music or vocal
lessons. Worship team members should understand ministry expectations
and prepare spiritually for ministry. Worship team members are expected
to continue their spiritual growth through Bible study, prayer, and
other spiritually enhancing opportunities.
Drama Team
The Drama ministry seeks to provide excellent,
relevant skits in a manner that enhances the morning message and
edifies the congregation. Participation depends on the parts required
for each skit. Parts are assigned by the Drama Team Coordinator.
Participants are required to attend practice sessions as necessary.
Special Music
Special music participants minister in song and
music on a rotating or as-needed basis, seeking to associate with the
theme or message of the service. Special music participants will
prepare and coordinate with the worship committee for participation in
worship services. Special music participants should have the desire to
strive for musical excellence and demonstrate a skill level and talent
appropriate for morning worship as determined by the worship committee.
Special music participants will coordinate with the audio/visual
ministry regarding technical support required.
Offertories
Instrumental participants minister on a rotating or
as-needed basis, seeking to associate with the theme or message of the
service. Offertory participants must demonstrate a skill level and
talent appropriate for morning worship as determined by the worship
committee. Offertory participants should have the desire to strive for
musical excellence and be sufficiently prepared to minister. Offertory
participants should demonstrate maturity in their presentation and
selection of material. Offertory material will be religious in nature.
Offertory participants will coordinate with the audio/visual ministry
regarding technical support required.
Audio/Visual
Technical ministries enhance the worship service
and other events by providing transparent technical support for
worship. Audio/visual techs are expected to attend training sessions as
needed for the various ministry events. Audio/visual techs set up and
tear down the equipment required for each event. Sound techs work under
the direction of the worship committee and/or worship leader for each
event.
